About me

Hi! I'm Sara Jeffries and I am a multi-cultural and multi-platform graphic designer delivering tailored and sophisticated designs for print and digital channels with a high capacity for projects.

My experience includes working as a yearbook editor for Indiana Wesleyan University, as a graphic designer for Pro Prints Gear, and as a student graphic designer for Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Development Office, where I refreshed the design of many recurring projects by implementing consistency and sophistication. For the past year I have worked with Entripy Custom Clothing to rebrand their website, while also creating logos for local organizations and companies in Grand Rapids, MI. My keen eye for marrying the right message to the most effective medium has served my clients well.

At both Pro Prints Gear and GVSU Development I had to juggle multiple projects with strict deadlines. I was given a variety of projects at GVSU Development and worked with a communications team that included project managers, copywriters, a creative & production manager and a digital content manager. This complex team taught me how to work collaboratively, requesting critique and review of my work, and how to communicate effectively.

My affinity for fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative environments has helped me successfully produce a wide array of graphic design work, including:

  • brochures
  • direct mail
  • email campaigns
  • invitations
  • newsletters
  • outdoor advertising
  • presentations
  • logo design
  • web graphics
  • webpage layouts

In addition to my freelance work, I use my high capacity for creative production to partner with local nonprofit organizations like the Manasseh Project, Sacred Beginnings, and Bibles International on passion projects.

My value to you is my multi-cultural perspective, multi-platform experience, and my high capacity for work and ideas.
